About Our Kennel
Situated in the heart of Alberta, Living Prairie Kennels is located near Blackie, Alberta and is home to many different residents, including, dogs, cats, bunnies, ducks, chickens, pigs, cows and horses. We offer both short and long term bording and with plenty of running room we are able to offer an exceptional place for your pup to burn off steam during their visit. We have a fenced-off dog park with large tractor tires and a portable swimming pool and 120 acres of grass to run and roll in during our pack walks, several times a day. The dogs love to play tag with each other as they run and play.
Our kennel has 25 individual kennels inside and there are crates and beds to get comfortable on when rest is needed or the weather outside is undesirable. For dogs from the same home who are buddies, a shared kennel many be used to help them feel less stressed or lonely.
Many of the very small dogs are housed inside of our home or our office area as they can feel overwhelmed in the large kennel area with big dogs.
